Alfonso “Al” and Miguela “Meg” Lim of North Charleston celebrated their 50th Anniversary Feb. 17 with a renewal of their wedding vows at Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with Father William Leonard performing the ceremony. A candlelight dinner and dance reception followed at the Redbank Club. This joyous celebration was witnessed by their three children and spouses: Dr. Alan Lim and wife Eva of Hanford, CA; Alison Posadas and husband Benny of Summerville; and Arnold Lim and wife Janet of Indialantic, FL. The couple is blessed with 7 grandchildren: Armand, Adrienne, & Astrid Lim; Cameron and Dalton Posadas; Andrew and Arick Lim.

Despite a little more than average rainfall for the month of January, levels at Lake Moultrie are still more than seven feet below full pool at 68 feet elevation above sea level. This level is up more than a foot-and-a-half from the 66.5 feet recorded in December.
