Pastor Mickey White of Santee Circle Community Church officiated and Marni Funk of Moncks Corner was the soloist. A reception was held after the service at Storm Pointe Conference Center.??
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Wayne Ahl Jr. of Moncks Corner and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William E. Crosby of Goose Creek. Her grandfather currently serves as a Berkeley County Councilman. She is also the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd W. Ahl Sr. of North Charleston.
She earned a degree in Cosmetology from Trident Technical College, and is employed by Whitesville Fire Department in Moncks Corner.??
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Wilton Burbage Sr. of Moncks Corner and grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Burbage of Moncks Corner and the late Mr. and Mrs. William E. Goodale of Chesterfield, S.C. He graduated from the South Carolina Fire Academy and is employed as a professional firefighter on the Naval Weapons Station in Goose Creek.??
The bride was lovely in her white strapless gown with beaded sweetheart neckline and taffeta pick up skirt with a chapel train. It was topped off with a white elbow length scalloped edge veil with pearls and crystals scattered along the edge. She carried a bouquet of multi colored gerber daisies and the bridesmaids carried stems of single colored gerber daisies. All flowers and decorating were done by friends of the family, Mrs. Zada Tanner and her sister Mrs. Linda Bodiford.?
Kara Elizabeth Ahl, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. The bride's other attendees were Ashley Ahl, cousin of the bride, Breck Davis and Kayla Walden, friends of the couple, and Junior Bridesmaid Jessie Crosby, cousin of the bride. The flower girls were Haley King, niece of the groom, and Julie Crosby, cousin of the bride. The bridesmaids were outfitted in tea length pool blue dresses with the flower girls in long white satin dresses with pool blue ribbon accents. ??
Lee Walden, friend of the couple, was best man. The groomsmen included Brooks Ahl, brother of the bride, Walter Chapman and Justin Driggers, friends of the couple. They were handsome in black tuxedos with pool blue vests and ties.??
The couple honeymooned in St. Augustine, Florida and will reside in Goose Creek.
