Tech graduation May 2




Trident Technical College will hold its 44th graduation ceremony Friday, May 2, at 7 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum.


Tom Stubbins, vice president of Human Resources for Vought Aircraft Industries, will give the commencement address.


Stubbins holds a bachelor’s degree in business studies from Dallas Baptist University. He has been with Vought since 1980. Vought is one of the world’s largest independent suppliers of aerostructures. Headquartered in Dallas, the company designs and manufactures major airframe structures for aircraft manufacturers.


TTC holds one graduation ceremony a year. This year, more than 1,300 students are eligible to receive associate degrees, diplomas and certificates. Approximately 500 students have chosen to participate in the ceremony. The event is open to the public.
