Gayle G. Bunch

Gayle Griffin Bunch of Goose Creek, a retired beautician, died Feb. 24. She was 63.

Born on Feb. 24, 1945 in Charleston, she was the daughter of Dannie E. Griffin and Mary Cherry Griffin.  She was a hairdresser in Hanahan.  She loved to spoil her grandchildren.

Mrs. Bunch is survived by her son, Grady Clements (Tammy) of Dorchester; daughter Kippi Jones (David) of Goose Creek; sister Edna Brown (Morrell) of Moncks Corner; brother Alton Griffin-O’Connell (Lew) of Asheville, NC; grandchildren Shelby Clements, David Jones, Lillian Jones and Valerie Jones; and two nephews, Dave Brown and Greg Brown.

A celebration of her life was held Feb. 26 at J. Henry Stuhr Northwoods Chapel in North Charleston.
