Barba, Teresa

Teresa Lavonne "MiMi" Barba, 57, of Goose Creek, wife of Michael S. Barba died Thursday, February 14, 2008.

Funeral services were held Sunday, February 17, 2008 at 2 o'clock at Miles Road Baptist Church, Summerville.

Entombment was held in Dorchester Memory Gardens, Summerville. Mrs. Barba was born August 4, 1950 in Charlotte, North Carolina, daughter of Wilburn Perry Davis of Zuni, Virginia and the late Barbara Cordelia Morgan Davis.

She was a graduate of Garrett High School. She enjoyed traveling, camping and just having fun in the sun. She worked as a medical billing receptionist with Low Country Podiatry and she was a member of Miles Road Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband and father are three daughters, Kimberly Anne Howerton of Goose Creek, Melissa Howerton Davis of Summerville and Shannon Howerton Cancro of Moncks Corner; grandchildren, Michael Dalton Anderson of Summerville, Samantha Brianna Merisier of Goose Creek, Taylor Morgan Anderson of Summerville, Rhett Crocker of Moncks Corner, Scott Brian Davis, Jr., of Summerville, Victoria Elaina Davis of North Charleston, Cordarius Simmons of Mt. Pleasant, Kalaya Murray of West Ashley, Charles Cancro, Jr., and Samantha Cancro both of Moncks Corner; brothers and sisters, William Davis of Goose Creek, John Davis and Michelle Davis of Virginia Beach, VA, Darren Robey of Goose Creek and Victoria Davis of Zuni, VA.
