Graveside services were held Friday, February 22, 2008 at 11 o'clock at White Church Cemetery, Ravenel.
Friends may call at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville. Mr. Droze was born August 7, 1945 in Charleston County, son of the late Lewis N. Droze and Annie Craven Droze. He attended Garrett High School.
He enjoyed golfing and playing music. He was owner of Droze Painting Inc. and he attended Faith Assembly. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Steve Droze, Jr., and his wife Laura of Moncks Corner; daughter, Tammy Stanton and her husband Craig of Goose Creek; three grandchildren, Stephanie Rivers of Goose Creek, Chris Stanton of Goose Creek and Christina Droze of Moncks Corner; one great grandchild, Caleb Rivers of Goose Creek; sisters and brothers, Bettie Marks of Hanahan, Marylyn Van Hoose of Battle Creek, Michigan, Jean Cook of Islandton, Lee Droze of Ladson, Gail Barrow of Goose Creek and Mike Droze of Johns Island.
