Haywood's invention on sale at nearby stores

Goose Creek native Leslie Haywood a stay-at-home mom turned entrepreneur, has announced that the first collection of Grill Charms, a division of Charmed Life Products, LLC, are available for purchase at three local Charleston retailers.

This collection, entitled The Steak Collection, allows individuals to differentiate their preferred cooking temperature of their meat from others by affixing a Grill Charm prior to cooking.

Created by Charmed Life Products, Grill Charms are similar in concept to the wine charm.  Each charm is made of high quality heat conducting stainless steel and is the size of a dime.

The decorative head differentiates your food from others, and the serrated stem keeps the charm secure in the meat while grilling or broiling. Grill Charms allow individuals to easily distinguish spices and flavors, steak temperatures and avoid health or allergy issues prior to cooking by securing a charm to each piece of chicken, steak, pork, fish or even vegetables.

Grill Charms in The Steak Collection come packaged with six charms per box.  Included are two charms for rare cooking, two charms for medium rare cooking, one for medium cooking and one for medium-well.

In addition to purchasing Grill Charms online, The Steak Collection can be purchased at three area locations, Zinnia in the Belle Hall Shopping Center off Longpoint Road in Mt. Pleasant; Charleston Cooks, at 194 E. Bay Street in downtown Charleston; and In Good Taste, at 1901Ashley River Road in West Ashley.
